Lynn Bloodworth joined the library staff as Library Assistant for Automation in 1995, and has been Acquisitions & Serials Coordinator since 2000. She supervises three library assistants and one or two student workers. Ms. Bloodworth oversees data entry by library assistants and maintains quality control of bibliographic records on the automated library system, LawCat. She performs copy cataloging, performs back-up procedures on LawCat, and processes new acquisitions for the Law Library collection. Additionally, she monitors the cost of new editions and updates, and notifies the Library Director of unusual increases. She claims missing issues of periodicals, and notifies vendors when the Library needs to purchase the most recent updates. Her experience includes four years in the acquisitions department at the University of Georgia Library.
