Legal Research Faculty

Mercer's librarians are among the best teaching librarians in the nation. All have both law degrees and Master's degrees in Library and Information Science. In addition to teaching Introduction to Legal Research and Advanced Legal Research, they teach specialized legal research components in courses such as Income Tax, Labor Law, Securities Law, and Domestic Relations Seminar. In addition, they join with Mercer's other law librarians to support faculty and student research and scholarship. They provide expert reference assistance and research advice, and they select, maintain, and provide access to a comprehensive set of print and electronic collections. They also are active in their professional associations, including the American Association of Law Libraries, the Southeastern Association of Law Libraries, and CALI, the Center for Computer Assisted Legal Instruction.
