Costs

Mercer University School of Law is committed to expending its resources and professional energy in a manner calculated to producing the most positive results for our students because we understand that law school is a significant investment of a student's resources.

For the 2008-2009 academic year, tuition and fees will be the following:
Class of 2010 & 2011 $33,190
Class of 2009 $30,146

The cost of living in Macon is very affordable, and a living expense allowance of $15,000 is budgeted for your cost of attendance.  This allowance should be adequate to meet your needs for the nine-month academic year.

The monthly living expense budget for the academic year is:

Rent $515
Food $285
Utilities $165
Transportation $185
Personal $300

The living expense budget also includes the following annual costs:

Books $1,100
Health Insurance $746
Stafford Loan fees $104

More than 80 percent of Mercer students receive financial aid in the form of scholarships, loans, and work study.
