Non-Traditional Resources
Many of the resources listed earlier
are excellent for researching non-traditional employment opportunities.
Because many "non-traditional" positions are listed with college
and university career services offices, these are particularly good
resources in this area. Also many specific fields have sites which
are of interest to the non-traditional job search.

Publishers on the Net
Many publishers market law related information

A great resource for positions in academia. Access is restricted
to positions published the previous week.

Insurance National Search: Another
excellent site for folks interested in the insurance industry,
it lists positions from over 30 recruiters in the industry. Many

Law Librarian Positions: The home page
of the American Association of Law Librarians has an excellent
placement page listing positions with law school libraries nationwide.

page is of interest to anyone looking for EEO compliance type
positions. A large number of these positions are located in universities.

Court Administration: The National
Center for State Courts provides extensive links to court sites
throughout the nation. Many of the these sites also provide position

Fairmeasures: While not a jobs site,
this site provides an excellent example of what else you can do
with a law degree. Two attorneys, both former human resource directors,
have founded their own consulting business providing training
in legal issues to industry human resources directors.
