Kimberly White, ’88, was appointed as judge of Virginia’s 10th Circuit Court by Gov. Bob McDonnell in August. She is the first woman to be appointed to the 10th Circuit Court. Before her appointment, she was the Commonwealth’s Attorney in Halifax County, Va. for eight years. Earlier in her career, she worked for private firms Vaughan & Slayton and Woods Rogers, P.L.C., as well as serving in positions in the United States Attorney’s Office and the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office in Lynchburg, Va.
